It's a wonderful day for American Dad!, as FOX renewed the animated comedy ahead of its return to the network. It has been a little more than a decade since Stan Smith and the rest of his family were a part of the network's Animation Domination lineup.

Fox announces multi-season renewals for The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, and American Dad, the latter of which is returning to the network.

For The Simpsons, that means the network has given the green light to Seasons 37, 38, 39, and 40; for Family Guy, the deal encompasses Seasons 24, 25, 26, and 27; and for Bob’s Burgers, it includes Seasons 16, 17, 18 and 19. American Dad! will also run for four additional seasons, starting with Season 20.
