Heavy snow, glaze ice on roads and powerlines and gusty winds are all part of this Winter Storm Watch issued for a section of Michigan starting late Tuesday.

While March can bring spring-like temperatures to Western Wisconsin and did again today, it can also be incredibly wintry.

"Confidence continues to increase in a band of heavy snow developing across the region late Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will start as rain, and quickly transition to a heavy, wet snow, with snowfall rates of an inch per hour or greater," the NWS says.
