Last year, the glacier attracted 8,000 domestic tourists and over 2,000 foreign visitors. This year, 5,000 tourists have already visited, as reported by P K Gautam, the tourism officer of Bageshwar.

“I’ve trekked to Pindari Glacier 11 times, traversing Trail Pass in 1994, Baljuri Peak in 1972 and 2023, and Nanda Khat in 1972. Our expeditions highlight the Himalayas’ majesty and fragility.
