IDUKKI: Tamil Nadu Rural Development Minister I Periyasamy on Tuesday ruffled feathers in Kerala after he asserted that water level in the Mullaperiyar dam will be raised to 152 feet.

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Monday stood at 114.45 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 feet) with nil inflow and a discharge of 311 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 60.20 ft.
