ALBANY — Fourth-year students from Albany Medical College gathered at the Hilton Albany on Friday for Match Day, a nationwide rite of passage during which future doctors learn where they will continue their medical training. The college called the event "a career-defining moment in a medical student’s life."

Most jobs don't require 20 years of school. That's why not all of us are doctors. But all of that education paid off for med students across the country for Match Day on Friday.

Match Day is both a nerve-wracking event and a raucous party every year at MUSC, when students find out where they will go for the next phase of training.
