The 1,621-seat venue, designed by architects Kahn and Jacobs, is on the third floor of One Astor Plaza, an office tower constructed on the site of the former Astor Hotel.

The site was the subject of a 2020 redevelopment proposal to turn the former Lowe’s center into a 129,000-square-foot delivery station. It is unclear what Amazon’s plans are for the property.
