The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly acquired center Mark Williams for a package including their top rookie and their last tradable first-round pick.

Former Tennessee basketball player Dalton Knecht is involved in a NBA trade with the Lakers to Charlotte, Shams Charania of ESPN announced. "The Los Angeles Lakers are trading Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, a 2031 unprotected first-round pick and a 2030 pick swap to the Charlotte Hornets for center Mark Williams, sources tell ESPN," Charania said.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Lakers acquired center Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets. In return, the Hornets received Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, the Lakers' 2031 unprotected first-round pick and a pick swap in 2030.
