Kakashi was so powerful at a young age that he qualified to become a Jonin at age 12 and, soon after, an Anbu at age 13.

Using the Chidori, Kakashi quickly found renown in his youth and was one of the youngest Ninjas ever asked to join the Anbu. Moreover, he graduated from the Ninja Academy at the top of his class.
