The 2024-2025 college football season is over and that means that things are starting to get into motion for the 2025 NFL Draft. Chatter surrounding the draft is starting to ramp up and the East-West Shrine Bowl is being played on Thursday night on the NFL Network.

If teams like the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Jets would like to use their top pick in the NFL Draft on the best player available despite a need for a QB, new reports may point to an interesting option early in Round 2.

In the latest mock draft from NFL Network’s Bucky Brooks, the New York Giants select an “alpha-dog” at No. 3 overall.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns hold the second overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, and Deshaun Watson’s uncertainty for the 2025 season could lead to selecting a quarterback.

The Browns are in such an awkward spot organizationally. Yet as the holders of the No. 2 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, Cleveland can make a maneuver that can benefit the club in the short term and provide the team extra ammo potentially needed to pick a quarterback in next year's draft.
