Thursday was the last press conference media day before the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles played in Super Bowl LIX. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was once again questioned about rumors that game officials showed preferential treatment to Kansas City.

If the Eagles win Sunday, expect their investment in the trenches to haunt the Chiefs — and perhaps Reid, whose fingerprints are all over his opponent’s roster strategy.

“I love BYU,” Reid told the Deseret News in March of 2022 after participating in head football coach Kalani Sitake’s high school coaches clinic. “I bleed blue. I have a (BYU) football helmet in my office and I am all-in.”
