Red Sox pitcher Walker Buehler was ejected in the third inning against the New York Mets and manager Alex Cora followed him to the clubhouse after heated arguments with umpire Mike Estabrook.

Responding to that call, Red Sox insider Chris Cotillo of MassLive issued a clear assessment of Cora's job security at this point. "Eight weeks into a three year contract," Cotillo wrote. "He's not on the hot seat as of now."

It's not often you see a starting pitcher ejected early in a game. But that's exactly what happened Tuesday when Walker Buehler (and then, Alex Cora) were tossed in the third inning against the Mets.
