New Jersey is already under a state of emergency and flood watch with dangerous storms expected Thursday afternoon and evening.

A severe thunderstorm watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:21 p.m. in effect until 8 p.m. for Essex, Hudson and Union counties.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 8 p.m. for the following South-Central Pennsylvania counties: This includes the cities of Carlisle, Chambersburg, Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, Lebanon, Newport, Waynesboro, and York.
