Scott McLaughlin of Team Penske is preparing for his fifth Indianapolis 500 after starting from the pole position in 2024. McLaughlin qualified 10th for the May 25 race with a qualifying speed of 233.

Scott McLaughlin defended team owner Roger Penske and said he is more motivated than ever to win the Indianapolis 500 after a week of upheaval within his race team.

Penske driver Scott McLaughlin says his career won’t be “complete” until he wins the Indy 500, as he prepares for his fifth start in IndyCar’s blue riband round. McLaughlin built a name for himself in Australia’s Supercars championship, winning the overall title for three consecutive seasons between 2018-20 with DJR Penske.
