One person has died, two are in critical condition, and one is seriously injured after a car crashed and landed underneath I-95 Friday night.

Police say two cars — traveling at high speeds — were heading northbound toward the Betsy Ross Bridge around 8:15 p.m. when one of the cars struck a barrier and overturned onto the sidewalk below the highway,

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., a Mazda was heading up the onramp when it hit a guardrail and crashed onto Castor Avenue below, police said.
