LSU baseball was sent home from the SEC Tournament with a loss to Ole Miss. Here's how it impacted the Tigers' RPI ranking.

No. 1 LSU (43-14) will sit back and await their NCAA Tournament fate across the next 24 hours with the program preparing for postseason baseball in Baton Rouge.

Vanderbilt was riding high from a blowout 10-0 victory over rival No. 8 Tennessee in the semifinals after the Volunteers eliminated top-seeded Texas in the quarterfinals. Ole Miss had plenty of momentum as well, though, as it defeated second-seeded Arkansas in the quarterfinals and third-seeded LSU in the semifinals.

HOOVER, AL — Ole Miss baseball will play in the SEC tournament championship game. The No. 7 seed Rebels (40-18) won their third game of the SEC tournament, blanking No. 3 LSU 2-0 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium on May 24.

Vanderbilt baseball will face Ole Miss with an SEC tournament title on the line. The Commodores (41-16) will play for their second SEC tournament title in three seasons. They also won the title in 2023.

Ole Miss defeated LSU 2-0 on Saturday to reach the SEC baseball tournament championship game for the first time since 2019.
