Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Gloucester County, Mercer County

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly at 2:04 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.

Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Burlington and Ocean counties will be expiring at 4 p.m.

“At 3:11 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Cedar Glen Lakes, or 14 miles west of Toms River, moving northeast at 10 mph,” states the weather service. “Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.”
