The owner of Inter Miami called Major League Soccer’s suspension of Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba for skipping the All-Star Game a “draconian” punishment.

Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba are “extremely upset” after being suspended for Inter Miami’s home match against FC Cincinnati on Saturday due to their absence from this week’s MLS All-Star Game, according to Miami managing owner Jorge Mas.
