It took until the final lap to secure it but McLaren's Lando Norris crossed the to win his first Monaco Grand Prix. The two-stop requirement for Sunday's race saw a split in strategies but,

Lando Norris broke the track record to qualify on pole position Saturday for Formula 1’s Monaco Grand Prix, besting Charles Leclerc and title rival Oscar Piastri.

Piastri now leads the championship over Norris by just three points, followed by Verstappen (25 points back), George Russell (62 points back) and Leclerc (82 points back).
