The biggest narrative surrounding this year’s Dreamville Festival was that it’s the final installment, as J. Cole said in December 2024. But, it turns out that doesn’t mean Raleigh, North Carolina will be left hanging. On stage this past weekend, Cole said ( as seen in this video ), “We will be back, just in a newer form.”

J. Cole headlined the final Dreamville Festival under its original name on April 5-6, 2025, at Dorothea Dix Park, Raleigh, NC.

This year’s show included Saturday’s headliners Lil Wayne and the Hot Boys (Juvenile, Turk and B.G.) with the Big Tymers (Birdman and Mannie Fresh), 21 Savage, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Ludacris. Other performers of the day included Dreamville’s own Ari Lennox,
