Drew Sanders was taken off the field on Friday, and it has been reported that he will miss several weeks with a foot injury. That's certainly a better diagnosis than many first feared, but it's still an injury for a guy who could not afford another one.
In addition to Greenlaw and Strnad, Denver's remaining healthy inside linebackers are second-year player Levelle Bailey and three undrafted free agent additions: Karene Reid , JB Brown and Jordan Turner. It was another eventful day of Denver Broncos training camp, where the defense thrived, and a young linebacker separated himself.
"Broncos LB Drew Sanders, an up-and-coming defender, suffered a tendon injury in his foot in practice that will keep him out an extended period of time, sources say post-MRI," Rapoport wrote on X. "Sanders is not expected back before the season begins and further testing will determine what's next."
The Broncos are healthy going into training camp, and none of the players negotiating an extension are holding out.
