Owensville is a village in Clermont County, Ohio, United States. The population was 786 at the 2020 census. Owensville was called Boston, and under the latter name was platted in 1836. A post office called Owensville has been in operation since 1832. The present name is derived from Mr. Owens, the first postmaster.
