The rides, games, food, drink, services, and artisan crafts are all at your expense. Booths at the faire are owned by the artisans and these are their businesses. Your admission covers all your entertainment. There is no per-show charge and performers roam the lanes all day to interact with you as well. Sterling runs weekends only from early July through mid-August. There are no school days.
Terrible, everything takes so much longer than it should, food, beer, shows, be prepared to wait around an insane amount of time. Shows have a perverse tone that isn't appropriate for kids.
