Hi. My husband and would like to visit Panama in Feb. 2016. We have 10 - 14 days. We would like to see the birds, perhaps go on the Ancon Expedition in a dugout canoe on the Mogue River, see the Panama Canal, go snorkeling at the Bocas del Toro, some hiking, lots of beach time. Small quiet hotels on the ocean or huts in the jungle suit us. We are quite fit seniors with a taste for adventure. What tour company do you suggest? or is this all something you can arrange? We live in Canada.

I am not accustomed to "Hostel", Is this dorm type arrangements or private room and shower? Are you located in what would be considered a very safe area to walk around? I have to ask, as I have read there are many areas in Panama City that are recommended that tourist stay away from.
