Worth the trip!! Such beautiful scenery. The temple is quite unique and the gardens are beautiful. There are deers everywhere so if you have kids for sure they will love it.Full review by brujitadragon

I was never at the Park early enough to not have the shops open. Regardless of when you go the Park and its attractions are well beyond just the deer. The Buddha at the end of the park is amazing. The museum along the walk is well worth it. The deer are fun but they can be aggressive. One time we were there it was fall and there were vendors selling baked sweet potatoes. We were finished with the potato and I was holding on to the wrapping paper until we could find an appropriate place to dispose of it. We stopped to take a picture and a deer snuck up behind us and stole the paper. I actually have a picture if the crime. Plan plenty of time. If you go during a festival there will also be a lot of great street food. It is well worth it.
