its ok to wear thongs if you dont plan to go down to the beach. The stairs to reach the beach are very steep in some area and proper shoes are recommended, i think it would take …

its ok to wear thongs if you dont plan to go down to the beach. The stairs to reach the beach are very steep in some area and proper shoes are recommended, i think it would take around 20-30mins to go down. and coming back up is a bit harder than going down.

If we charter a private boat from Serangan harbour, can the dingy feasibly take us to shore on Kelingking beach?

You may get down from the top on your own but again it's a difficult task and will take 2hrs to complete the activity.

Hello, this not a very decent trail. You have to be careful in each step. But doable in about 2 hours and at times you descent is very steep and on boulders and mostly no hand rail to support. If you are careful and have a good pair of walking shoe with full grip, you will enjoy going down. Since you will find very few people taking the steps downward, you should go with few friends and not alone. But doable. Please carry water bottle with some glucose to give you energy during the climb.
