Such a beautiful, quiet beach with lovely views. There's a great, short walk around the headland to Uttakleiv beach. (If you have the stamina, it's worth walking up to the top of the headland for m…Full review by Fearless251073

Beautiful beach, we visited on a rainy day in June so it was really quiet. Nice place to park up and relax for a while. The sand is bright white and very clear bluey green water. There is a car pa…Full review by Barbs25
Where do we stay in the Lofoten Islands? Are there hotels on the island or do we stay on the mainland?

Thank you Heidi. You have been so helpful. I think we will go with your suggestion of getting a camper van. It sounds like you guys covered a lot of places! I have a few more questions: 1. Do you think we should go to Lofoten Islands even if the weather is not good? We are going there Sept 3rd which I hear is beginning of winter. 2. Do you think it will be alright to rent a camper when we arrive to Bodo if we go or should I do it in advance. We were going to decide when we arrive to Oslo whether we would go depending on the weather. 3. Is 3 days two nights enough to see the Lofoten Islands? 4. How much was it to rent a camper van? 5. How did you get to Lofoten Islands - did you fly from Oslo to Bodo or did you drive, I hear the drive is long? We were going to buy our rd trip ticket once we arrive into Oslo if we decided to go. We were going to go to Copenhagen if we did not go to Lofoten Islands. Did you go to Copenhagen? Do you suggest we buy rd trip tickets once we arrive to Oslo? Is it cheaper to buy once you are there or in advance here in the states? Thank you again!
How much does it cost to camp there? Is it on or close to the beach?

Its free.. Wild camping in general is free in Norway (as one of few things:) You can camp anywhere for up to two days as long as you are more than 150 meters or about 500 feet away from the closest habitated building. In remote areas and the highlands you can camp as long as you like.
