We offer guided walking tours through Edinburgh’s most extensive set of vaults and are the only ghost & history tours company with authentic links to witchcraft. We also offer a Magical Potter tour to see a number of sights said to be the inspiration of buildings and characters of the Potterverse. If you are booked for a tour they start at the tourist information ticket booth outside 300 Lawnmarket, EH1 2PH, not at our office.

No. Gladly not. This isn't a jokey kind of tour...more of a serious underground tour of Edinburghs dark history. For jump scares go along to the Edinburgh Dungeon

Apologies for the late reply, but to answer the question, all the tours tell of some ghostly goings on and you may well imagine that the underground and vaults are a low lit, atmospheric and spooky place... that might not be suitable for younger or impressionable visitors. We recommend ages 15+ for our longer themed evening tours, although we have had a number younger guests enjoy the Auld Reekie Original Tour experience which lasts approx 45mins.
