This is a must visit place in Kathmandu. You will feel that you have took a Time Machine. The entry ticket for foreigners is 1000 rupees and includes the entry fees for the palace.Full review by hafezovci

It is hard to find your way on your own using just a guide book such as Lonely Planet. The "square" is spread out and meandering. There are intact temples and buildings, and others that collapsed or partially collapsed from the earthquake. The old detailed woodwork on many of the older structures is amazing.
