Dating back to the 16th-century, this is the oldest Jewish Ghetto in the world with its five synagogues, which are the oldest still existing.

The ghetto itself is superb historical monument and potentially may serve as a excellent memorial. However, currently, if you would like not just walk in the streets of the ghetto but to learn more a…Full review by touristgroupmanager

Last week, I took a guided tour led by Patricia, with the museum, and I admit that it was one of the most informative ones I have ever experienced! The tour included visits to two active Venetian syn…Full review by kmarb98

The day we were there, there was a mix of people that pre-bought tickets and some that bought right on the spot. So I would assume it's ok to wait till that day and time and go there and by directly in the museum shop. We only had one afternoon in Venice so we bought in advance so as not to get locked out. I don't know how many people can go on the tour at once. And we only bought 1 ticket and that was a tour of the Ghetto and the synagogue that was open at the time.
hello ... how do i go about finding museum tour for the jewish ghetto? thanks!

My tour was set up through Firebird Tours well in advance. I would suggest checking aviator or City tours or local guides on line. Good luck! Ask concierge at hotel - they are most helpful.
Are you referring to a private guided tour or the one run by the museum? If it was a private tour can you give me more info ie name, contact info, prices. Thanks

It was a tour company that we found online, and said we want a simple, custom tour. That's what happened! Best I can do.
Hi, Bernard. . .You mention Michaela. Could you pass on her contact info please. How did you find her. In Tours by Locals I haven't found a guide for the ghetto. I have been to Venice before and hope this time to make it to the ghetto for at least half a day. I just would like to have an arrangement with a guide before our trip in June. . .Thanks in advance. . .Arlene G

Half a day (12 hours? 4?) in the ghetto area sounds a bit much unless you have plenty of spare time and have already done Venice justice previously. I have no guide to share with you but can recommend Solo Italia as a good ahamcu to contact. Good luck.
