The museum is actually the last part of the factory tour. This is a functioning mint so security is higher than other places. You do need to show ID and they have to check you in. Only during cher…Full review by CanuckJames

Entrance is on the main road not from park on the river. Free entry and some good coins and history to see. No English translation of exhibits and some items cannot be photographedFull review by carlor228

From memory it was free. The shop sold many interesting items. The walk along to the museum was picturesque and interesting. You could take pics on the foyer, lovely clock. It is closed on public holidays in Japan. I would phone up because I had to go twice. The metro station is a fair distance away. The best time to visit would be March when the Trees are in full bloom. Opposite side of the river very interesting museum and park.

As I checked their Web site, it says that they are going to open for a week from Aril 8th to 14th. So, I don't think that they will open before that. They don't charge you for an entrance. …

As I checked their Web site, it says that they are going to open for a week from Aril 8th to 14th. So, I don't think that they will open before that. They don't charge you for an entrance. It's free. If you don't care about where, you may check other places instead of Japan Mint because some of them are already blooming.
